How did you get involved in your profession?
Two major factors contributed to Dr. Feinerman's career choice. First, he wanted to help his sister, who was born with Down Syndrome; ever since he was eight years old, he has felt frustrated that he could not make her normal. Second, when he was 12 years old, he had the opportunity to became involved with serious scientific research when he met Hans Mark, who later became a deputy administrator of NASA.
Where will you be in five years?
In five years, Dr. Feinerman intends to continue improving therapies and successfully treat as many people as possible.
